A closer look at how I approach real automation and integration work — not just the outcome, but the actual problem and solution.

Automated Messaging
Before
Manual setup across 4 separate dashboards — pricing and guest messages easy to get inconsistent.
System I Built
Lodgify → PriceLabs → Airbnb → Booking.com → Automated Guest Messaging
Result
Property live and synced across every platform without manual upkeep.
The Problem

A new short-let property needed to go live across four platforms at once — Lodgify, Airbnb, Booking.com, and PriceLabs — with consistent pricing, fees, house rules, and guest communication. Doing this manually across four separate dashboards risked inconsistent pricing and missed guest messages.

The Solution

Set up the property from scratch across all four platforms: synced pricing and fees through PriceLabs, configured automated guest messaging and house rules, built a parking registration workflow, and mapped amenities consistently everywhere a guest might see them.

Delivered as a single Upwork engagement: full multi-platform property setup from scratch.

Before
Manual CSV exports and spreadsheet imports every time a new order came in.
System I Built
WooCommerce → Real-Time Sync → Customer.io → Triggered Email Campaigns
Result
Emails fire automatically based on real purchase behavior, no manual uploads.
The Problem

An online store needed customer and order data flowing from WooCommerce into Customer.io to power automated email sequences — without manual exports or spreadsheet imports every time a new order came in.

The Solution

Built a direct integration syncing customer profiles and order events from WooCommerce into Customer.io in real time, so triggered email campaigns fire automatically based on actual purchase behavior instead of manual list uploads.

Self-Hosted Server
Replicated Backend
Before
No inventory of what the app depended on — locked into a no-code platform.
System I Built
Base44 Export → Full Audit → Self-Hosted Server → Replicated Functionality
Result
Independent infrastructure with the same functionality, no no-code dependency.
The Problem

A language-learning app built on Base44 (a no-code AI app platform) needed to move to independent, self-hosted infrastructure — but the client had no clear inventory of what the app actually depended on: which data tables, AI features, file storage, and server-side logic would need to be replicated.

The Solution

Exported the complete project and delivered a written inventory of everything it used — data tables, content, AI features, file storage, and server-side logic — the exact map of what needed to move. Then set up the server and backend independently, replicating the platform's functionality without the original no-code dependency.

"Milestone 1 — Export & Full Audit: I export the complete project from Base44 and deliver a written inventory of everything it uses: data tables, content, AI features, file storage, and server-side logic — the exact map of what's moving to your server."

Follow-Up Engine
Before
Every customer message needed a manual reply — quiet conversations were lost for good.
System I Built
WhatsApp Business API → Chatbot → Automated Follow-Up Sequence
Result
Conversations run themselves and automatically re-engage customers who go quiet.
The Problem

A business wanted to handle customer conversations on WhatsApp without a person manually replying to every message — and needed a way to re-engage customers who went quiet mid-conversation, rather than losing them silently.

The Solution

Built a WhatsApp Business API chatbot handling the core conversation flow, plus a separate automated follow-up sequence that re-engages customers who stop responding — turning a one-shot chatbot into something that actively works to bring conversations back to life.

Delivered in two milestones on Upwork: the core chatbot build, followed by an automated follow-up sequence for customer re-engagement.

Custom Notification Build
Before
App settings misconfigured; back-in-stock alerts only worked at the product level, not per variant.
System I Built
App Settings Audit → Fix → Custom Per-Variant Notification Build
Result
Customers get notified for the exact size or color they were waiting on.
The Problem

A Shopify store needed its installed apps checked and correctly configured, plus a specific storefront feature — a "notify me when back in stock" button — that only worked at the product level, not per variant, meaning customers couldn't be notified about the specific size or color they actually wanted.

The Solution

Verified and corrected the store's Shopify app settings first, then rebuilt the back-in-stock notification button to work per variant — so a customer waiting on one specific size gets notified for that size, not every variant of the product.

Two separate Upwork engagements with the same client: a Shopify app settings verification, followed by the per-variant notification feature build.
