How to know which task to automate first

Not every repetitive task is worth automating right away. The best first automation is usually one that's rule-based (no judgment calls needed), happens often (daily or weekly), and directly touches revenue — like lead follow-up, appointment booking, or invoicing.

Tasks that involve creative decisions, negotiation, or relationship-building — like sales calls or strategy sessions — are usually poor automation candidates, at least as a starting point. Start with the boring, repetitive stuff first.
